Flinn commits nearly $4M to Arizona arts groups / Flinn Foundation
The Flinn Foundation is pledging almost $4 million to Arizona arts and culture organizations, a substantial financial commitment designed to support the groups’ long-term sustainability. Susan Small who, for decades, directed the charitable works of the Stonewall Foundation along with her late husband, died earlier this month just days before her 98th birthday. Established in 1966, the foundation contributed more than $45 million to local nonprofit organizations over the years, with substantial support for the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, Tucson Museum of Art, Habitat for Humanity, Arizona Public Media, Tucson Botanical Gardens and Tucson Symphony.
The Nash jazz club announces reopening / Arizona PBS
In May 2024, The Nash jazz club closed its doors to the public to begin work on its renovation and expansion.
